We helped raise $5,100 for the Red Cross!!

We heard from Kerstin Goot, the Assistant Marketing Manager at 29th Street Mall in Boulder. She thanked us for performing for the benefit concert for the FourMile Fire Victims. AT the event, we were able to raise $5,100 for the American Red Cross. Thank you to all of our fans who came out and donated money to the Red Cross. They are a wonderful group of people who respond in a hurry to crisis like the Boulder fire. We were so happy to help!

Sacred Heart Kids Rock!

The families of Sacred Heart in Boulder totally ROCKED on Saturday evening. The Millennium Harvest House played host to the First Annual Family Dinner Dance fundraising event. It was great for the band to see so many kids excited about live music! We'll see them all (and more) next year!

Two hugely successful shows with Jennifer Batten!

Thank you to all the Funkiphino fans who came out on Friday and Saturday to listen to the band perform with one of the greatest guitar players of our time. Both shows were ridiculously fun - we were so proud to be sharing the stage with legendary guitar virtuoso - Jennifer Batten! Jennifer is best known for her performances with Michael Jackson on all three of his world tours; Bad, Dangerous and HIStory. She performed at Jackson's famous Superbowl half time show which aired to one and half billion people in 80 nations. In 1998 she was asked to join Jeff Beck's band where she recorded two CD's - both supported by world tours. The energy for both events was electric with people dancing in the streets and singing along. A special thanks to Carlo Riley, a fabulous Michael Jackson impersonator, for joining us at the Saturday performance in Boulder. His uncanny physical similarities cause even the most dedicated Michael Jackson fans to do a double-take!
